Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer famous for his unique mix of soul gospel jazz R&B as well as R&B. She's performed on Broadway as well as at the Democratic National Convention and in European festivals and clubs. Sunshine can be described as Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta, her roots are located in Chester Pennsylvania. There she started to pursue an interest in music, as a singer and pianist at the church. After graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she began her musical journey on the Atlanta's R&B musical scene. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was called Stalk You A house 12 released exclusively in Japan It has since been remixed by a variety of producers and has become the mainstay in her live show. Her voice has also been a part of vocals for The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. In 2005, she was the keyboardist in Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 to serve as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls, the theatre production in Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was noticed by the nation during daily performances of four at 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine followed up with being invited to sing for the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
