Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist who currently is a competitor within the UFC flyweight division. Valentina is her younger sister, and also a UFC competitor. Antonina Shevchenko is a Muay Thai boxer started her fight sports career at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event with a unanimous victory over Suzane Miller. Shevchenko stopped her involvement in MMA in order to concentrate on kickboxing. She made her comeback against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko had the chance to beat Anissa by a majority vote and defeated Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. She quit the club in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina showed off her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera by knees. After this win, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina Shevchenko made her debut in UFC at her debut at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the unanimous victory, however she lost her second fight to Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the defeat by beating Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. The result earned her the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in the next three fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski and lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently knocked out by KO in round two to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
