Andressa Urach

Andressa began her romantic relationship with Tiago at the age of 15; they were both at high school. Within three months, they began romance and living together, they moved together in the same house. Arthur Urach Costa (born May 19 in 2005) was the sole child of the couple. Following marital disagreements and divorce, they separated in 2008 following six years together. Andressa Urach was moved in with her mother to live with her one child. After six months of separation, she resigned and chose to send her son to his father, in hopes of pursuing the life of a better chance with her son in Sao Paulo. Being vain as well as a highly proud woman, the main reason for leaving her native South to go to Sao Paulo, was in an attempt to achieve the fame and riches. Andressa Urach describes in her book Morri Para Viver her experiences with the sexual assault she endured as a young child. She suffered between the ages of two and eight years of sexual abuse from her adoptive grandfather. Andressa has been able to overcome of these issues due to the fact that her foster mother was aware of the situation and returned her to live at her house. Her mother was not conscious of the abuse she suffered until Andressa published her book. She claimed in interviews that she accomplished what was unattainable prior to her spiritual awakening: forgiveness of her victim. One of the hardest decision I've made in my life was to contact the person who had sexually abused. It wasn't an easy decision. After much prayer vows and fasting I said via phone that I forgave him and even though I was not guiltless, I asked to forgive him. But I did ask forgiveness, without even justifying myself. In an interview with Globo Mariste Urach tells how she felt when she found out about the harassment suffered by her daughter. She traveled to the city where the pedophile lives, in the inner reaches of Rio Grande do Sul willing to retaliate against him.
