Angie Harmon was an American model and actress who was featured in numerous films and TV shows. In the beginning she was an established model, and later after gaining international fame she decided to venture into acting. The beginning of her acting career came in 1995 when she starred on the popular TV show "Baywatch Nights". In addition, she voice-acts as well as voice-overs for the animated film "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker". Harmon has stepped down from TV shows in the year 2000 in order to focus on films. The role of the detective Jane Rizzoli was her most famous work in the TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. Her character as a detective was extremely praised and she won several awards.
